When I met Coach Cath, her motto was "Quality, not quantity!" That sounded like my type of training!!
I like the challenge of such a demanding sport. Also, training for 3 disciplines keeps me out of mischief!!
Definately Olympic. It's not as explosive as a sprint. Gives you time to chat with your fellow competitors!
Haven't really had a very tough one YET!!! Maybe I'm still teaching myself to push harder!!
I try not to favour only one leg, it is a TRIATHLON after all!! The swim is most definately my best leg. I have a few thousand km's under my belt!
Are you mad.... I'm not giving away my secrets!!
This wasn't during the race but BEFORE the race. Racking our bikes in the morning. 10 mins until transition closes, I realised I left my water bottles in the hotel room, (hotel was 1 km away). PANIC, 40 Km with no water! Thank you 2XU shop for bottles & cold water! Smart decision to open at 5:30am!
I really enjoy the Brisbane Corso loop. I like riding along the river! Plus, there are usually more bikes than cars which makes me feel a little safer!
If I say them out loud they might not come true!
Firstly, I just want to find that determined girl I once was.. and go from there!!!
My first Olympic distance I went approx 20 mins faster than I expecting! I don't know how, but it all came together on the day!
Does it count if they were 10 years ago?!! I have competed at national level for swimming, state for waterpolo and CQ for cross country/athletics.
Any athlete who commits to an Ironman. That is real courage!
