Why did you decide to join Vision Tri Club?:
I'd heard Coach Cath could get anyone swimming well.
What attracts you to Triathlon?:
There is so much shopping involved.....bike, shoes, togs, wetsuit, beanies....
What is your favourite race distance? :
I want to go longer and longer
What's been your toughest race and why?:
My first ocean swim _ in wild conditions off Currumbin. Luckily Dan stuck close by.
Which leg of triathlon do you prefer? (Swim, Bike or Run) :
I love the bike, especially heading in to transition
What was your worst 'blunder' during a race? :
In the TQ duathlon, my bike shoes were clipped in but i forgot I was wearing run shoes _ until i tried to mount the bike _ oops
Where is your favourite bike ride? :
Trace and I had a magic ride up to Springbrook. On my own, I quite like a very, very early riverloop before all the packs of riders are out of bed.
What are your future goals? :
First off another half ironman, this time Wanaka. My aim is to keep healthy enough for a full ironman.
What are your best results so far? :
Second in my age group in the Triathlon Queensland series for 2008/2009.
Which athletes provide you with most inspiration and why? :
I'm very inspired on race day when i see the fiery chicks in my age group. It's fantastic to be part of such a lively bunch.
