You could be fast and fit or totally new to exercise, so long as you start the session, your finish time is optional.
Throughout all training sessions, a high level of personal attention will be maintained. Your training will encompass all aspects of a triathlete's training/racing
schedule. Distances vary in each session depending upon your fitness and ability. All athletes are catered for in each session... come and join us!
Beginners and "New to the Sport" athletes
Does it seem daunting to get involved in a new squad or new sport?
Do you think that you are too unfit, untoned, overweight or underskilled to come along and join in on a session with us? Don't be! The members of VISION Tri Club have come from all the backgrounds. From having no fitness or skill in areas like swimming, cycling, running, transitions, race preparation to almost having no equipment applicable for this sport. We aim to make your transition into a squad environment as easy and as inviting as possible.
This is why this sport requires qualified coaches with leadership and directional skills. The coach of VISION will assist you and guide you through skill development, energy system awareness, nutritional advice and organisational skills for being able to train and race.
The motto is ‘quality training not quantity’ – with a smile.
As a "starting point" we recommend the following above sessions:
* Monday - Run (morning)
* Tuesday - Swim (night)
* Thursday - Power Hour (morning) and Swim (night)
We will then increase your sessions with the squad as required when your confidence and fitness grows. |
